-HISTORY
Oliver's Mount is a 2.4-mile public roads circuit in North Yorkshire, England. A narrow ribbon of tarmac, it snakes between exposed trees, up clutch-busting gradients, around micro-hairpins and over the notorious Jefferies Jump. Not for the faint of heart!
F3 cars raced here in the mid-1950s, and motorcycles from 1946 to present. Famous winners include Duke, Surtees, Hailwood, Agostini, Sheene, Dunlop, Fogarty and McGuinness. The roads also host hill climbing and rallying.
This GPL model bypasses the Farm Bends chicane, added in 1991 shortly before start/finish.

-NOTES
* The oft-quoted track length of 2.414 miles (without Farm Bends) seems too long. Aerial photos and telemetry suggest a length just under 2.4 miles.
* The hairpins were a clipping nightmare; some ugliness remains but is minimal if you proceed in a forward direction without making mischief ;-)
* Started: 8th June 2007
* Finished: 8th March 2014
