NEW FLAGMEN FOR ALL THE GPL MODS ...THEY ARE BIGGER , BRIGHTER AND EASY TO SEE... :woohoo2:

INSTALLATION IS EASY...
JUST MAKE A COPY OF YOUR CURRENT OBJECTS FILE FOLDER ...THEN SIMPLY EXTRACT , CUT /PASTE, DRAG'N DROP OR COPY THESE NEW FLAGMEN TO YOUR OBJECTS FOLDER AND ALLOW THEM TO OVERWRITE THE EXISTING FILES...AND THAT'S IT
GO RUN A FEW LAPS AND  HAVE LOOK AT THEM IN ACTION...   :racer:

Thx Gamma! Looks great!

Here you can see the flag rules of GPL:
http://gplracer.eu/behavior.html

I did this compilation for our GPLRACER online racing league.

Quote

§ 3.4 Flag rules (GPL online racing)

Blue flag:
warns you a faster driver is about to overtake you. You should let him pass.

Yellow flag, not waved:
Attention, danger!

Yellow flag, waved:
Great danger, whole or parts of the tracks have been blocked by cars or debris. Be prepared to avoid collisions.

Green flag, not waved:
a ) at the start
Be prepared, the race is about to start
b ) in the race
The green flag is waved after the yellow flag, and indicates the end of the danger zone.

Green flag, waved:
a ) at the start
The race begins
b ) in the race
The green flag is waved after the yellow flag, and indicates the end of the danger zone.

White flag:
Attention, there is a slow moving vehicle on the track.

Black flag:
Penalty. Is waved when a jumpstart is being made or if you are driving in opposite direction.
You have to stop at your pitbox within three laps and have to wait for a moment before you can continue your race. If you do not stop at your pitbox, GPL will take you out of the results.

Finishflag: (checkered black/white):
the session has ended.

Note:
Blue or black flags are only visible for the drivers for who they are being waved. All other flags can be seen by other drivers as well.

When you are disqualified ('DQ'), this incident will be investigated by the Race Stewards (Reko), because GPL can make a mistake regarding this in some cases.

If you ignore the warnings given by the flags (in particular the blue and yellow flags) you will be investigated by the Reko and may get a penalty (see § 3.3 and § 8).

One little quirk in GPL is that if you're just about to be lapped by the leader of the race as it's coming up to the finish of the race for it, you may see the chequered flag, even though you haven't been lapped and will need to do one more lap.

Thanks Gammaworx and Dave, very nice, I will try them in practise tonight. Right now I have these guys with red pullovers, and missed a yellow flag in Ascari at a Monza online race. Sometimes I think these flagman could have better positions at tracks, but maybe it's just an excuse of me seeing only red mist and the car in front :P

Once, in a simracing.nl leaguerace dutch alien Bert Knops was about to lap me towards the end of the  final lap of a race, when my Honda started to smoke (as it did so often), I noticed the checkered flag was for him, so I continued. He still lapped me in his inlap where I went on to finally take the checkers that was meant for me; in the results I finished in the same lap :D

Cool flags. Thanks.

One comment on flags in GPL. The blue flag is kind of comical. I get the blue flag in qualifying all the time. Even when I have the pole time, and even if the guy behind me is someone I just passed. I'll even get it when a driver just came out of the pits, and pulled behind me. How can he be faster when he hasn't even done a lap yet?

Very nice, I like them a lot! Well done Gammaworx, it's like a flagman with a CoC besides him telling him what to do :D Also the checkered flag and that white flag with the blue cross looks nice! :) (what for is that? In order that the drivers don't hit them flagmen/CoC's?)

You mean in offline practise? Because I have seen that too...
