GPL WALL CHANGER 1.0 is ready to download.
After four months of work i finished this project.

I have realized this program to be able to modify the original circuits of GPL, the fantastic simulator by Papyrus.
Having built two tracks for GPL (Nivelles and Campalto) I got fascinated by the Job of the Monaco Rock team.
I have start working on some improvements on this track, mainly the port area.
Proceeding with this work, I  met several difficulties that made me think about a way to work in an easier way;  the realization of a program that could help me in the development of my project.

Whith this editor you can:
1) Insert new textures in the 3do file without have to replace others
2) Insert 3do or srb objects in sostitution of one already existing
3) Modify  the positions of 3do and srb objects
4) Modify the texture of every single WALL of the 3do file
etc..

You can send me a mail if you find any bugs at this address
stefano.zampedri[remove]@[remove]tiscalinet.it
dangermouse EDIT: email address edited to stop bots picking it up. Just remove the bits in red

Bye from Much the Campalto ad Nivelles track Builder.

P.S. read the English tutorial DOC included for a step by step how to.

Version 1.5.1 is now available:

That's what I do, but each time I click on the continue key, it ask me to find the gplwallchanger.exe!

so here is what am doing :

Run gplwallchanger from progam files folder
Click on find key
select gplwallchanger.exe
click continue key

and it ask me again to find the gplwallchanger.exe path!!!
again and again and again....

When I go to install the wallchanger program it's all in a foreign language and the readme document is in a foreign language.
Is there an english version of this program ??

THe program itself is in English GT.
The readme and installer are in Italian.
When the installation comes up, press OK, then press the button with the little computer icon on it to start the installation.

Great work Stefano !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you very much. New strings and remapping on Track.3dos without the complicated hex-fiddle, thats a major step forward! I am impressed, and it works fine, although the "continue" button is invisible on my PC so i have to click into nowhere to start the programm.

and, your italian is very good :), even without speaking it i understood your tutorial, LOL.

btw, to me it seems inserting 3dos and srb-3dos is disabled yet, is that right? will that be updated one day? I mean its not that important, since we have Guru`s racing line, but if it comes, ill be happy to use it.

thanks much again Stefano, many editors will benefit from it.

Steffen

alias much the track builder of no track :)

I saw your other post so asked for the English help files here, but as you can see above you, Ginetto is offering to help you. What is it you can't get to grips with? Try to be a little more specific if you can.
