Here is an update to GPL Setup Manager which handles the upcoming 1971 CanAm mod.

It also adjusts the 1967 Sports Car Mod setup limits to the same as the .exe., adjusts the top speed estimate for tire slippage, and fixes wing setup open and save for 1969 Extra Mod.

The program will run in any directory, but if you want GEM+ to use this updated version, install the files into your GPL Secrets//GPL Setup Manager directory.

After installation, just click on the GPL Setup Manager icon and point the program to your GPL installations.

Thank you for this update, Lee!

What might the Can-Am modded exe name be, by the way... and the name of the cars folder?   :hmm:

This is a total guess, but following the logic of other mods they might be "gplcca.exe" and "carsca".

RUBBISH!

Greg, the .exe will be "gplm71" and the cars folder will be "canm71".  Have to make room for a future '66 CanAm mod.   :)

As always, terrific stuff, Lee.  Dare I say it's a virtually essential utility.  Thanks, amigo.

Ah, the '66 CanAm.  While I'm dizzy with anticipation for the '71 CanAm MOD, I'd positively swoon over the '66 version.

Many thanks, Lee!  It really works great!  ;)

(actually, I looked 'inside' your program to find the answers)

Oh, I totally agree with you on that!  Can you just imagine seeing those white cars screaming around with those "flippy" wings!

No, I've tried to fix that, but have not been successful.  It's hard to troubleshoot as I only have a single screen.

I'm unable to open setup manager anymore. I get a "run-time error 380" message.

Having googled the message it seems that the problem lies with the version of MSMASK32.OCX being too new.
Its odd as I have done nothing to my pc since I last used setup manager the other day, other than race.
I am running XP SP3.

Can anyone post their MSMASK32.OCX file here or does anyone have an idea how to fix this problem?
I rely on setup manager quite heavily for my testing.

cheers :)
