Hi guys,

Trying to get GPL working after being shown it by Dark and I have driven a few laps at Mosport and I like it but I am having a few issues. The first is that the menus are not positioned correctly, they are moved over to the left and leave a sizable gap (About 1/3rd) of the screen black on the right. This happens on all menus but is fine when driving.

I used the 1.04 installer, afterwards I added GEM and the 60FPS patch.

My other problem was that my times are uploading to GPLRank as F2 but they are F1, although this might be resolved when the menus are as due to not being able to see the left hand side does become problematic so this can be a 2nd priority.

Any help would be appreciated

This sometimes happens when you use a monitor (TV?) which doesn't allow 640 x 480 resolution.

For the car class, make sure that you have not selected "Advanced Trainer" or Basic Trainer" in the track selection menu in Training mode.  You have to do this for each driver name.

Ahh, OK. Yes, I am using a monitor and the lowest it will go is 800x600 so that is why then!

This F2/F1 issue is bizarre though, I am 100% using F1 chassis. It is set as standard in GEM and then Grand Prix in-game and after uploading my player.ini to GPLRank it says class (I think) = f1 but then times displayed as F2.

Oh, I think that you might have set that when you set up the account at GPLRank.  Look at GPLRank > Edit account.  If it says Class - F2, you can change it.

Its a shame you'll have to put up with the shifted over menus but i'm glad you're up and running. Lets see how long it takes for you to get that first green
