"Looking to the future, it appears that the new Formula 1 engine is coming along well and should be running by the early spring. No definite information is available yet, but there are strong rumors that it will be a V8 with the appearance of two of the new F2 engines in a common block. So, whatever happens it looks as though the combination of Costin's brains and facilities together with Ford's bankroll will put Ford in the winner's circle in F2 and possibly F1 in 1967, and there is nothing wrong in that because England badly needs a replacement for the late lamented Coventry-Climax."

Golly gee, I sure hope everything turns out OK!
