Here's a brand new steering wheel for the Ferrari 330 P4 in the version driven by Amon/Vaccarella.

I've tried to make it historical correct as possible.
For example, the leather is taken from a photo showing Filipinetti chassis 0848 P3 412 P, which has it last race at the Ollon Villars hill Climb,( August 27 ,1967)driven by Herbert Müller.
You see, it's hard to beat this kind of realism.

I've included Jack Seller's driving suits, all credits to him. :clap2:

A black version, driven by Scarfiotti /Parkes + Müller /Guichet will follow soon!

Special thanks to M Needforspeed for his help! :hat-tip:

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Don't use this steering wheel for the F1 Ferrari's, they are different!

Now enjoy!

Hi sky(Roman?I'm still not sure),

yes, first downloader and first thing I ever made on this strange machine called computer. Before I used it only for reading here in this forum and driving the most beautiful cars that ever been converted in bits and bytes.

But it's a lot of fun to create something new and it's more fun to give the community something back, so you can be sure that it will be not the last update(if you want)!

yep, that's me :)

and that is how it started for me as well.. aeons ago :). my first steps were changing things i didn't like. over time those things got bigger and eventually i got invited into the inner circle. and it's fun. but be warned - it can become an addiction . to the point where i hardly drive anymore and if i do it's to test new things :idunno:

if you intend to do-up the dashboard, let me know. i have recently learned things, while doing the canams, to simplify the structure of the cockpits a good deal to make them easier to paint (thanks to martin's patient tutoring). as it is the dashboard of any of the GT cars is made up of at least 10 different textures, the P4 probably has even more than that. so piecing those bits and pieces together to make a seamless beautiful whole can be trying. nowadays i pretty much do one big texture covering it completely and either cut it up into pieces or use a single poly (or a small number of polygons) to rebuild the dashboard. but that is "level 2" :D stuff as it involves .3do editing. it may sound complicated at first, but it isn't really that bad. i mean, i managed, too :P. the first car took me a day to do the cockpit fix. a few cars later i managed 3 cockpits in one evening, so as they say "practice makes perfect" is actually true.

anyway, if you intend to go for the cockpit, ping me and we can talk that through
