I've just installed the 69 xtra mod and so far using Brabham BT26a.  I am baffled that, whilst all AI appear correct for the venue, my player car has always been high wing which I think was banned after Monaco practice.  Any ideas/solutions please?

Nothing you can do, when Papy made the game you didn't need to change cars, and so no feature was implemented. You just have to stick with your choice of graphics for the whole season.

In Single Race mode you can get it historically correct by selecting
on the graphics bar for the particular car you want to race.

For the 69x mod the AI will select the right car. The player has to do it himself. It's very easy. Just a click of the mouse in the Player Info menu.

Many thanks as always for helpful responses.  Hadn't noticed the Player Info menu for selection.  That's solved it.
