One more historical carset ready.

This is the Silverstone 1967 historical carset add-on for GPL67 produced together with Irridux.

The exceptions to the real grid due to the limitation of 7 graphical slots of GPL67, are the BRM P83-H16 of Irwin instead of the P261-V8, the Cooper T81b of Rindt (which he actually used during practice) instead of the T86, and the Maserati V12 engine of the Cooper of Moser instead of the ATS V8. Furthermore there is no slot available for David Hobbs on the BRM P261 2L V8.

In a similar way of my other historical graphical carsets for GPL 67, this includes HR car skins with the numbers and details used at the British GP at Silverstone in 1967, specific mechanical parts, drivers’ faces, helmets and gears and some other textures to match colours and historical fidelity. It includes the drvc67 file to be dropped in the silver track folder, with the original Silverstone 67 entry list.

The provided files shall be installed over the LEMANS carset  (see GS_BUGATTI67_carset), to make a complete new carset to be called SILVER, and valid only racing on Silverstone with the provided drvc67 (see included  installation note).

Credits as usual, go to the original textures creators (GPLEA, JackSeller, Nino Garage and Van Gossum) and to the entire GPL community who has produced and shared so many graphical improvements, utilities and knowledge to keep this game/simulator still so interesting, inspiring and enjoyable. Special thanks to Greg Liebzeit and team for the brabham.3do and to Michel Vigneres for his historical support. A special thanks to Irridux who has provided important textures to this carset.

Hmm...I think there are some files missing.

Bonnier's Cooper is green and without numbers and drivername in this carset.

Another point, drove Rees the T81 or T81b?Because in the readme he should drive the T81 but ingame the T81b.

Hi Silence, you are right there is a missing file in the coventry. I always forget that crimexb it is not included in the GPL installer. I attach it here and also in post #1 for every one. For what concern Rees's car, he was given a try-out in the modified 1966 chassis, the car that is normally kept as spare. If you look carefully the skin used for the T81b of Rindt is different than the T81 we worked for the car of Rees and I think the  final result is pretty good. Don't forget anyhow, that due to the limitation of 7 car slots of GPL67, both T81 and T81b share the same slot, therefore they have, let's say, the same dimensions.
