Hi guys. I think that this two tracks are missing for the '67 season: Karlskoga in Sweden and Phoenix Park in Ireland. And one more thing: if the Targa Florio track was made ¿is there a chance that the Isle of Man track could be made complete, I mean, with it's real lenght and not the edited version that we already have?

PD: I also think that in '67, Chimay track was a little bit longer ¿Am I right?

follow jim's reports around here IOM full is wip, but since it's a one-man army (for the most part) working on it, it will take some time.
as for karlskoga - no idea if there is a version of that around or not. the point scoring rounds are only missing the suedschleife, which as reported a few times already, is in very early stages - i'd say alpha - and has been for a long while now. and at this time i don't think anybody is working on it.

karlskoga is of a far lesser importance, as there was only a few F2 entries completed  with F3 , like at Keimola and Ahvenisto..But the track layout wld make it a fine track to drive.

Karlskoga Motorstadion (Gelleråsen) Stefan Magnusson    2002-03-22: The International track in Sweden of the sixties. Hosted  non-championship Formula 1 races long before Scandinavian Raceway  (Anderstorp) was even built.
2002-05-03: The layout is just about finished.
2002-05-12: Working on cambers and altitudes.
2002-11-27: Working more on Montjuïc Park for the moment.
2003-09-25: Busy moving.


At Keimola, it is only to please Kurt Lincoln, that Rindt convinced other F2 drivers to participate

I see you are a big fan of John Watson . I ' ll find this race report on AUTOSPORT mag, and post it, here

seems this race was a Formula Libre event, won by 1600 TC engines from the F2 rules

Interesting wld be to know why F2 Register put this race on the list, as they where others Formula Libre events held in U.K. seeing  not up to date F2 cars entrants
  Good to see those f2 where faster under rainy conditions than the true F Libre Kincraft and the like with Stock Block big engines, that pre dated the F 5000 / Formula A  to come in 1968


Took quite a long time before John  Watson wld begin his succesfull  F1 career in 1973

I think this is the episode of the Flying Lap where James Watson talks about Phoenix Park http://smibs.tv/the-...watson-2012-f1 I could be wrong though but its still worth a listen.

we chose to only model the championship races, same as we did for the GT mod - there were more races to the season than we included. however those are weren't point scoring rounds for the WSC, so they were left out.

but feel free to start creating the missing tracks you want to have yourself. there are a few tutorials on the gplea site on how to do that. plus there are some wiki entries and there's a team around here (at the repository really) that can teach you a thing or two.
