Grateful for your help. After first inserting original GPL/Sierra (1998) CD in drive, but not running, have installed & run GPL_Easy_Installation_Guide_ENG_v1.4.
All seemed OK and after restart tried to open from desktop icon but no response from computer. Am running XP SP3.
Hope you can advise (after many hours of frustration!). Thanks vm, MR
