Something A Little Different!

I'm not sure how many people would be in to something like this, but I figured I'd mention it once in the forums here. I'm currently beginning a sort of "lets play" series for GPL. I'm doing a career from 1965 to 1969 and recording it along the way with commentary while I'm racing (not easy to do!). I hope to do all of the championship and non-championship races, and hopefully it is entertaining to watch as I battle to hopefully become world champion!
I have already finished the first episode, it has a few rough parts, but I hope to correct them in the videos to come. If you're interested let me know what I can do to improve the videos. I hope many people get to see just how awesome GPL is!
Thanks!

I did pick short race length, and the most difficult setting for driving. Unforuntatley it looks like I had a piston failure which caused the breakdown. Lets hope that doesn't happen again!
Nothing specific causes that correct?

I'm sorry, I don't think I understand what you mean.
I am following the 1965 championship calendar, East London was the first GP on January 1st 1965.

You can cause it by overreving the motor on upshifts and downshifts. I didn't notice if you did that.

Engines can have damages by overreving also a little bit many times. You are using automatic clutch and sequenzial gear, so be carefull and lift quite well the throttle during upshift.
I don't know what engine is the less reliable in the mod 65.
if I remember well, in the 67 season the less reliable is the cosworth, but also the more powerfull, and the more reliable is the Repco, so in 67 season there are more possibilities to finish a whole race with a Brabham, as was in real I guess

A thing I've noticed in your first race was that, before the race, you selected the setup for the practice only; this way you run the race with the default setup instead of yours.
Keep 'em comin'!
