this for a long time.Thank you. :hat-tip:

Wow-I thought when I first installed GPL I had gotten all updated GEM and patches etc.
Now my computer has an issue that won't allow me to run GEM.I'll have to look at
this closer when I have time.Thanks for the reply Tooncheese ! :wave:

What is strange is that I have and run Targa Florio with no issues.I do have the old
64 track limit though and no Jackie Stewart. :shrug:

EDIT-nevermind about 64 limit-looks like that is due
to trackinstaller being older then patch.

EDIT 2-went through the 67 patch released thread & read
the postings-saw some discussion about using GEM to change
67 carset from default to updated,so perhaps my carset
is still "locked" into the original cars/drivers.I know
I have made graphic updates with G.Spinning files but
ASFAIK still have the original drivers.Oh well,I guess
in my GPL world Jackie chose to drive USAC with Mario in
1967 ! :P

Hi Davef,
Whether you have Stewart or not depends from the list of drivers you have in your drvc67.ini. The default drvc67 coming with the patched GPL67 has Stewart in. As well as, Stewart is present in my specific drvc67 for Spa and for Zandvoort. Now you say that you have problems with GEM. I guess therefore, that since then, you are launching the game from gpl.exe and not gplc67.exe.  So doing, you are going back to the unpatched GPL, which runs on the basis of driver.ini rather than drvc67, and the original driver.ini has not Stewart in. I will recommend  you  to try to launch from gplc67 and then reinstall GEM in any case.

Ok re-installed GEM+2(GPLSecrets program).When I launch GEM the initialization begins then I get a
window that says my source(path)does not contain ODSTools,which has been my problem for months now
with this PC.The file might have inadvertently been removed from my PC.Therefore when I play GPL
I launch whatever mod I want via its own GPL icon from the hard drive.When I run the 67's I use
the gplc67 icon.My driver configuration icon when I open shows the drivers of the original cars.no drvc67 icon in my GPL folder
I also noticed when I open the mods folder in GPL that there is a gplmods config. icon that when
I open that shows the different mods-listing:
                                              ident=GPL
                                              title=1967 Grand Prix
                                              exe=gplc67.exe
                                              season= 67SEASON.INI
So launching from gplc67 icon I get no Stewart.
the only other GPL icon for 67 cars I see is the "GPL"
which I believe is the original Sierra CD that I own.
Without GEM opening I guess I can't install the drvc67
configuration file?I have all the other mod drvc's
that I have carsets for 65,66,69xtra,GT,F2.

Very strange you don't have the drvc67 file in your gpl folder! I attach here mine. It is the default one of the patched 67 with Stewart in. Drop it in the folder where you have your gplc67 executable and, if you can not launch from GEM, do it from gplc67.exe.

Good luck!

GOT IT !!! :yahoo: THANK YOU G.Spinning !! :thumbup: What I had to do was remove "driver" config-which was
the original, to storage,so I still have it.Renamed your file (you so kindly posted) "driver"
and PRESTO... Jackie Stewart and the whole 67 carset.Even the team info menu shows the 3 BRM drivers now.
GEM still not functioning-I will try to get that missing file fixed some how.
Thanks Again,cheers ! :hat-tip:
Edit-I see that Bandini is not included but I know he only raced in the tragic
Monaco GP of 1967.
