Welcome Grhillde !  My 11 year old son loves GPL.He knows as much about Clark,Stewart,Rindt,
Hill & the Gang as much as Kenseth,Jimmie Johnson and Earnhardt Jr. I made sure of that!

*kick*

Also thanks for this great site and all the people who contribute and making it all possible . It's like a candystore :)

Seeing the post above me it reminds me of my late dad playing GPL. He started when he was 68y old (2002), never got a rank or so, and his laptimes sucked. He was just cruising, enjoying the scenery, enjoying the old cars, the sound, the whole experience. He continued to go back to GPL for a few laps throughout the years, until he was diagnosed with terminal lungcancer. He didn't enjoy anything anymore, and died within a year, 77y old.

It's a great memory -my dad playing GPL- and an example on how awesome GPL is on many levels. :)

I'd also like to say thanks! Without this site and a certain little mouse in danger, I would have never looked at GPL, and now with all the mods and add-on for this Sim, I'm having the best racing I've ever had with an older game :)

Cheers for that... ;)

Many thanks from me too, I found a GPL video on youtube with a link to this site. Hadn't used GPL for 5 years as it didn't want to run on my present PC found all the help I needed in the forums and downloads on this site. I first got GPL in 2000 and had many many hours of intense enjoyment racing the 67 cars on my old PIII pc (no internet in those days.) Now reinstalled and running I'm back in the driving seat and learning to drive again, it's all coming back quite quickly, Over the years I have played many racer games and still nothing compares to the satisfaction of Grand Prix Legends. Many Thanks to all the creators and supporters of this amazing software. :Meter:
Cheers everyone, I'll be back regularly
