I had this 99% ready since more than one month. Reading the forum I think it is now the right moment to release it.

It is my historical (almost correct *) carset for Zandvoort 1967. It includes HR AI's car skins with the numbers used at the Dutch GP in 1967, specific engines and textures to match colours and realism. Further it includes the specific zandvoort drvc67 file to be dropped in the zandvort track folder, with the original Zandvoort 67 entry list.

(*)Exceptions are: Parker’s Ferrari 36v instead of his 312 1966,  McLaren M5a instead of M4b and Irwin’s Lotus 25 not modelled.

It has to be installed on OPTION 1 of my already released historical carset for Spa 1967: GS_SPA67_carset_v2.  Afterword your updated carset will be historically representative of both Zandvoort and Spa. N.B.: this carset does not support on-line racing.

As usual credits to be shared among the entire GPL community who has produced and shared so many graphical improvements, utilities and knowledge to keep this game/simulator still so interesting, inspiring and enjoyable. Further, please read the installation note.

Good historical racing!

Many thanks for sharing more of your excellent work Gianfranco.
Greatly appeciated as always.

:clap2:

Historically correct (almost!) grids for all the years 65-69 were only a dream until recently but now seem a distinct possibility thanks to the wonderful work that you, Irridux and others do

I really love your work and inclination for details! :hat-tip:

But one question:drove the Coopers with dish-wheels? :idunno:

here the Read Me I wrote included in the zip, about various Cooper dishes use :

GPLEA dishes rim for the Cooper T 81

During 1967 season, Rindt and Rodriguez Works team Cooper T 81 used often, but not always, dishes shaped rims. After the German GP those dishes were the rules. Bonnier and Siffert cars never used those dished rims.

  Here the story :

Zandvoort Dutch GP : Rindt used them on four wheels (so if you have Rindt correct, Rodriguez, Bonnier and Siffert will be wrong !)

Bugatti French GP : Rindt on Rear wheels only

Silverstone :   Rindt on Rear wheels T 86 not still   modelled in GPL

Nurburgring German GP : Rindt during practice with the T 81   car, on four wheels
                       Rodriguez on Front wheels only
Rindt during race on four wheels, with the T 86

Mosport Canadian GP :   Attwood on four wheels
                       Rindt on Front wheels

Monza Italian GP :   Ickx on Four wheels
Rindt on Four wheels, with the T86

Watkins Glen :       Ickx on Four wheels
Rindt on Four wheels, with the T86

Mexican GP :         Rodriguez on Four wheels

Installation :

First, look at the JPG's attached images, to see if you like them.

You can install those dishes only for front wheels, only for rear wheels or on four wheels.if you have read the text above, all combinations have their justifications !
But whatever you decide to install, they will display to alls the Coopers in the game. Various atempts to edit separately GPL cars wheels resulted always in CTD.

Simply drop down the files of the correct folder inside the Coventry folder.
As always, make a back up of your Coventry folder, first.

Enjoy !

Thank you for the answer!Exactly this I wanted to know!

I'd used Bernds latest installer and there is the option for dishweels, but no readme included.

Michel, thanks  for your help. I knew it about Zandvoort because I had the pictures of the three Cooper cars and I decided for the majorities also in consideration that the same carset is valid also for Spa. Now you saved me a lot of headackes in historical searching for the other tracks.

hi everyone.
made these ferrari skins today for zandvoort and spa and was just wondering if anyone was interested in them.
i have just put parkes in his 66 car and added poor bandini in his number 18 car.
i decided for a historical carset i would rather have parkes in his car than the fared mirrors (although they do look a lot better than the normal mirrors).
i have also made them the tiniest bit darker than G. Spinnings.
so if anyone wants them and its alright with G.Spinning i will put them up soon although if no one is interested thats fine i originally just made them for me (didnt think they would be very good).
also i apologize for the quality of the screenshots dont do it often.
