How long has that been there? Caught me by surprise earlier. Has anyone here had a go at getting it negative yet.

It was added last week... check the gplrank homepage, in "new negatives"... atleast 15 ppl got it negative.
Who is the living, loving city of people without faces? The elevator is screaming in his claws.

It's pretty much the same OvalRank that's been a hidden page in GPLRank for years...
My GPL Rank Tracker already included that version.. this one's pretty close, right down to the benchmarks.
Only changes are that Atlanta & Bristol have been dropped in favour of Hickory, Daytona & Rafaela.
I'll have to update the tracker to match

I just had a look, and there are also Test Rank, Fantasy Rank, and Boggle Rank hidden away. Are the other ranks in your spreadsheet (Indy Rank, Speed Rank etc.) also hidden or made up?

IndyRank, SpeedRank & MasterRank come from GPLRank's old sister site, NascarRank.

Look at this picture, and change the underlined number (it currently is 1 for 67 rank) to
Untitled.png 54.08K
61 downloads
4 for fantasy rank
5 for test rank
10 for boggle rank
all the other numbers reveal blank pages or non-hidden ranks

Well, you did well to find that, but obviously not operational since my times don't show up.

Hi guys,
When it comes to the OvalRank, I had to admit, that I had an indirect hand in there.
I noticed Darren's idea of an OvalRank some years ago and I was highly impessed
.
The genre simracing was born with David Kaemmers’s release of ‘Indianapolis 500 the simulation’; GPL’s grand-grandfather.
Furthermore, those GPL cars ran on ovals in real, too!! In the north American USAC-Series ran Lotus / Eagle (of course) & Brabham. They had nearly the same technical spec.
So due to the fact, that the whole genre was born on an Oval, and racing on Ovals is very very popular (in real as well in simracing), me and for sure many other GPL drivers (not only die hard fans) would love to see if finally an OvalRank can be generate.
So I convinced Ed Hut from GPLRank by arguing to generate an OvalRank
The reason why I made some minor changes to Darren’s original was, that the tracks in the OvalRank should be as realistic as possible (...it’s a shame, that Langhorne is stuck in alpha state
)
Bristol, was a little bit different back in those days & Atlanta looked entirely different.
So in respect of the historical correctness (tracks, these kinds of cars ran on) the OvalRank should include the following tracks:
Indianapolis (Indy 99 version is the most common); Michigan; Milwaukee; Phoenix; Pocono; Rafaela; Trenton.
Well, looking back in these days, the following GPL-Tracks have the correct layout, indeed these cars never races on in real, but they could have! So in order to complete the OvalRank:
Charlotte; Darlington; Daytona & Hickory would fit.
Finally, to have a counterpart to the GPLRank’s Nürburgring, the Grenzlandring (large & difficult Oval) match perfectly to the OvalRank.
All in all this is still Darren's creation; I just gave it a little bump, to make it happen.
Enjoy the Rank and let me point out the fact, that there still exists an Oval-Cup for GPL!!
Everyone is welcome to join the fun and be a part of the EOLC's Oval-Cup; also contains the Highest-Climber-Award as a special.
Check out the EOLC webpage, or visit the Highest-Climber-Award-Thread for more information.
Best regards, Kelvin (EOLC Oval-Cup Admin)
PS: EOLC runs GPL @ 60fps

Much Appreciated.

Tooncheese
You need a .cln file to regroove these circuits and none exist
Setups try the ATDB there should be setups for any of the chassis there, I know Dark posted his as he worked is way through the Total Rank.
