Gpl-67F2 Mod Released

Selected Zany , changed the steering ratio and jumped in the McLaren like a good little Kiwi...
Good grief I was happy by T1 and whooping by the hairpin !!!
What a fantastic feel it has
Most realistic iteration of physics yet I reckon.
Wonderful feel and steering loading. So accurate and grippy.
Congrats to all involved !

If we can ever see the 1967 F1 cars having their physics modelled to the same degree of excellence as what has transpired here with the F2 cars, well, that will be enough for me and I can die a happy camper.
My thanks and gratitude once again.

It installs OK, set up gem/carsets and selected a track i know works then click the gpl button. GPL then starts OK, show the main menu as Formula 2,click the green button, show cartype, damage model and track program guide OK, click green button. It thinks for approx 5 seconds and then crashes to desktop.
All other mods install fine and working. Have done a Brand new install of GPL following stephan roes install guide.
I have installed this on another pc and it works.
Due to the os setup (winxp SP2 on VMWare Server (virtual machine)), I can only get gpl to run with the OpenGL rasters.
Any ideas how I can troubleshoot this even more to get this new mod to work? I am doing some testing see if I can run GPL on VMWare to operate as the server for our racing league Ausgpl.com.

I just reinstalled GPL after at least 3-4 years off and I while I was looking for a way to overcome a glitch in the best lap menu (the order and flags are messed up and gplseason fix does not work properly), and another with the "new to me" Sports cars mod which I cannot race, I found that F2 mod I was dreaming about was finally made.
I have not tried this version yet since I am not on my computer... but I cannot thank enough those who worked on its completion, especially Michel Vignères, Arturo Pereira, Ginetto and Ruud Dingemans, at the beginning of this crazy project. Please note I would not give the impression to diminish the work of the rest of your team. To use a mechanical metaphor, they were the spark plug...
I read the whole thread, visited the official site and saw many more people that made this possible. Paul Skingley, Richard Cooke, Remy Roesz and Stephan Roess, for their rigorous approach they for which they were already well-known. I would also salute Charles Mark, Tommies van Olstade, Rob Hunter, Lee Bowden, that made a slave-driving task of graphic editing a beauty (from the pics I saw on the website, the final version is simply incredible. I was already impressed by the first draft you made several years ago) To your countless hours spent to spot small glitches that biased authenticity, car editing, interpretation of data not always going in the same direction, reverse engineering to improve the old GPL,
À vous tous, je vous lève mon chapeau bien bas !

with drivf2 including the 13 drivers who are in mod F2 (+ Rodriguez that I have renamed Offenstadt on Protos)
Stewart , Ickx , Oliver , Servoz-Gavin , Beltoise , Hill , Clark , Courage , McLaren , Irwin , Rees , Rindt , Brabham
you just take over the accounts at the end: 9, 6, 4, 3, 2, 1, all 4 races count,
do you have a drivF2 for each of these tracks? if so could you post here? thanks
