I've always found the Texas license plates on the 2F to be a little bit too big for my liking.  So after comparing the game skins to some pictures I have from the 1967 season, I did a quick and dirty edit on the mips to shrink them down to a more realistic (in my view) size.

All credit for the original art goes to the GT Mod team.

Drop the zipped folder in your carsGT folder.

EDIT

See Ginetto's post below for a more proper fix.  If you are using my mips, delete 2Flic00.mip, 2Flic56.mip, and 2Flic59.mip from your 2Fchap directory, and replace them with the fixed 3do's.

Thanks again Ginetto   :)

Thanks a lot Curt for the heads up

I've changed the 3DO files and the lod texture accordingly with a 75% of the original size.
Here are the files that you need to place in your GPL/cars/carsGT/2FChap folder.

With these files, you don't need the reduced textures anymore; the result will be the same you see in Curt's post above :)

Ciao!

Thanks Curt and Ginetto!      Only problem now is that when this guy overtakes me in a race, I can't report him for speeding as I can't read his number!   :drive1:
;)  :D

(P.S. Interesting fact - Ginetto's file has had 26 downloads in just one day. If each of those GPL fans and users donated just $5 to help run the SRMZ forum, the total for this month would be at $150. Just a thought.....  ;) )
