[Jackseller]

Hi guys,

A long time ago, i started to work on a Kyalami graphic update. Then i let it in a corner because i had other projects.
Recently, i decided to work again on this update to propose something less ugly than the original track.

But there are so many things to be modified, fixed or replaced... I don't want to spend my life on this track. So i stop here and i release my current work.

It is far to be perfect, not completly historically accurate, mainly because i used trees to hide the defaults of the track.

Here is what i have done :

- new hires textures
- almost 5000 3do objects added to the track
- some bugs fixed
- pits area sound (in option)
- draw distances optimized
- new cameras file

At least, Kyalami looks less ugly than the original version now...

If you want to regroove the track with The Racing Line, DON'T SELECT the Kyalami.DAT. Choose "all files" and select the Kyalami.3DO.
If you don't, you will lose all the added 3DO objects and all the fixes.

wohooo grabbing this. just a quick question. is there a new horizon in this batch? just asking as i am running a beta seegert (i think) horizon which i quite like. i like what i see in the pictures, shrubbery, graphics. yummy, kyalami was always on my cool to drive but graphically uninspired list of tracks. thanks for touching it up



just had a merry go round. AWESOME absolutely gorgeous!! (granted, i replaced the horizon with the beta one after 2 laps though)

Tried it and new Kyalami PB, must be because of the graphics update    Looks quite good, only minor negative is the groove. Old one was much easier to use as braking point reference.
