Just wondering is there anyway to dim the headlights in the 65/67 nightmod? I drive in-car and find it a bit too full on. i'd like to be able to dim the lights on the car as the glare makes it hard to spot my apexs and other details. cheers.

Using DATman, extract the file "clights.mip"(65s only) from the gpl/cars/nite65/... into jpg form.
Then using a program such as GIMP open the file and adjust brightness/contrast. (under colours) Then save as a .bmp file.
Using Winmip2 open clights.bmp Then click on the down arrow and change it to a .mip file and save.
Then open DATman and insert the file into the dat. (Make a copy of the dat file first!)Then close DATman and go for a spin. The same mip should work for all 65 cars.
There may well be a quicker way than that though, it worked okay for me.

You don't need to put the modified file back in the DAT.
GPL reads the loose files and the ones in the dat giving priority to the loose ones.
Is better to have it loose so you can always go back to the original just removing the file from the directory and basically you will always have the backup files in the DAT
