There are so many wonderful mod projects going on for GPL that I've lost count. F2, several seasons of CanAm and 50's and 60's F1 plus other diverse projects. The modders for this great game are true heroes ;)

But, correct me if I'm wrong, was there a 1950's GT mod underway too? Just the thought of driving 'round in a Jaguar D-type or a Maserati 300S or a Ferrari Monza makes me drool.

I hope I can start some models by the end of the year. We all want to finish what we have had underway first. If it's not seen as teasing, I'll be happy to post any progress on the model front .

Ah, sweet! On all accounts :)

No rush, I just ordered the Bahamas Speedweeks book that will keep me busy during the summer.

Well, a D-type and a 300SL would certainly make Mr. Turner's Dundrod come alive.  :D

I think you mean Jim Pearson's Dundrod.  Also, being a Jaguar fan I would dearly like to see a D type.

well i think he's referring to the turner pic, but yes, it's thanks to jim that we have a beautiful dundrod to play with. now you as a jag man... well let's just say there is a certain one-off jag in the workshop, not exactly a 1950's bella, rather later, but i think it'll make you a happy jaaaaaag man :) when you get to play with it eventually.
as always :whistling: :secret2: :releasedate: ...

No, I mean making the painting by Turner come alive.
I know who created the GPL track and it is already "alive"....albeit with out-of-period cars.

That's why I referred to the painting, which is static.
Place a D-type and a 300SL on the grid in GPL and, hey presto, the painting becomes alive.

Got it now? :)

You broke the code !  All we need is time and finish what's currently on the plate.  Bob

You probably already know this but Oakes Field has been released for GTR2.
