...But is it a valid WR lap?      (That is, no offs, two wheels on track all time, no guardrail bumps/wallrides, etc...)


Btw, has *anyone* managed to do a completely clean lap there yet, I wonder?

I did it Rudy pure clean but forgot to keep the replay  
You will have to take me on my words .
the only thing is i did it 36:10....in comparing to Phil super record .
One thing is for sure in the near future i will try to improve my Porsche-time at Nurby and Targa .

jeeez phil, with a time like that you'll be giving the '69s a run for the money. chapeau! i will have to watch that lap to see where i'm losing.. hm 5 or 6 minutes

Hi fellas,

Yes the lap is clean -- I wouldn't have submitted it otherwise

I did a faster lap (33:19), but that time I clipped a bollard and scraped a wall. Allowing yourself a few misdeeds is a big advantage, because clean laps require insane caution. You can't just hold back in 4 or 5 blackspots and attack the rest -- it's a constant struggle to concentrate and remember what's next. Take a smidge of extra care in ~700 corners, and you're left with another 20 seconds on the clock.

I did a 38:58 clean (no-resets) with the Lola T70 ^^

It's only my 3rd run...

And since I don't have my G27 yet, it's with an Xbox 360 controller XD

I watched Phil's lap and thought that I had somehow got to 'Fast Speed Replay'  

Ah well, back to 'Sunday drive speed', bounding off walls and Shift+R-ing from down the mountain side.....
