keith as for dallas.. i was there 10 years ago, i think they had a white "x" marks the spot painted on the road, and when i was looking down from the alleged perch, there were guys taking thumbs up pics on that spot. i sort of found that amusing and disturbing at the same time, lol. also shush, you could draw friendly fire lol
bears the question how that fire is friendly if it's directed at you. poor choice of word, even for a play on words really.

at first I was pissed when I read Saiph's comments but now when I step back and think about now I'm not. as an American citizen I agree with you, no one right now is liking the U.S. government now, including Congress. I,m not a Yank I'm a Southerner, thats right let that h.n.i.c. (head n**** in charge) drive thru Dallas!!!
p.s. I could go on and on about the government especially about Sara Palin, blah.

Agree Rudy. That and the post below yours(I'm not going to quote that) makes this the ugliest thread I've ever seen here.

Anyway, back to the point; Why has Obama got such a bad rep now?

well said Steve, far better stated than what I was about to post
we may have sim racing in common, but there are a few ppl here I wouldn't ever want to associate with
our old mantra from the 60's and 70's was "you're either part of the solution, or part of the problem"
it's pretty clear who is who

The US govt has forced companies to drill in deeper water because the shallow water rigs are an eye shore (to tree huggers)...
The US govt issued the permits to drill...
The US govt put a cap on damages a company would have to pay if something went wrong after the Exxon Valdez spill...
No chance in hell of a win but I'm sure the lawsuit will waste plenty of dollars and is likely get a few liberal scum bag lawyers fame and fortune (one of which will probably go on to run for President in 2012?).
Dog and pony show, what liberals do best! (Remember when the Clinton admin sued Microsoft?)
You can dislike the moron but to lump all Americans a into one pile makes you appear to be an idiot. 46% of the people that voted in 2008 did not vote for Obama. Many didn't vote at all because the TV and newspapers had told them that there was no way "The Chosen One" could lose.
In recent elections and polls, you can see that many of those non voters have gotten off their butts and many of those that voted for him have realized the mistake of electing somebody with no international, business or professional experience.
Here in the states, we will vote incompetent idiots out of office. And, of course, that means that the incompetent idiot got elected into the office. This just happens to be part of the cycle.
As for your other comments and anybody who supports them...
You appear to be a racist PoS and I will recommend that you keep those emotions and thoughts private. If you have the chance to experience life, you will eventually discover that :crap: comes in all colours. Skin colour is a great indication of one thing and one thing only, what SPF your sun screen should be. If you honestly think you are better than somebody because of the tone of your skin, you have proven that your are not only ignorant, but stupid as well.

i usually stay away from "political" threads and just watch them unfold. mostly they turn into flame fests, which can be fun at times - watching from the sidelines... i personally do not care too much about politics or politicians as i think they're all lying and thieving sonofa....... (slight generalization there )- it's part of their job description, i guess, but their colour or origin usually has little to do with it. it's just that some politicians are more outrageous than others. we do have a few of those over here as well, like that guy in the south who has been in and out of office more times than i can remember, but he has entertainment value (to me at last) even if i know next to nothing about his political agenda..
tommie, part of the bad rep is probably due to promising stuff he cannot or could not keep. well at least that is my guess. i try to not promise stuff i don't know (if) i can keep or not. going out on a limb and in public is probably not the best idea. but then he's a politician, so people don't usually take whatever they claim with a grain of salt - at least they should. take made promises, reduce by 50%, take away 10% (service charge ) and you should be somewhere near what may come off of the promises.

I haven't paid much attention to Obama to be honest. What attention i have given to him just made me think he looks like a good president. Hes confident and has an air of authority about him i admire. However it seems to me like he had taken the tiller of a sinken ship and his job has got to be pretty dam difficult because of that.
