Hi all,

here is a little teaser of the 1967 F2 Mod (WIP).

If you can name the track (WIP) on the screenshot you will get more previews. Posted Image

Cheers
Stefan

P.S. Before you ask, don`t expect a release of the mod within the next 6 months.

Pergusa was easy to get... apart from the lake as a giveaway, it's also the only circuit on the F2 calendar we've not already got...

I knew it was one way around or the other. :) I did type both but couldn't remember or decide which looked right. ;) In the end I went for i before e as in English it is usually the higher probability of being right, although in this case that is clearly not a good indicator.

Rob

EDIT: Correcting English now too as I can't even write that coherently now either.

Just so you know, the German (and Dutch) 'ei' is pronounced very differently to 'ie', with the former sounding like an English 'ay' and the latter sounding like an english 'ee'.

Südschleife means Southern Loop.

I remembered that bit about 'ei' vs. 'ie' from GCSE German more years ago than I would care to remember, (and also that the names of the tracks were north and south loop when translated), but I couldn't remember which combination of letters made which sound. :( I guess languages really is something that one has to regularly practice and use to keep any sort of grip on.

I think that in German, the rule is that the second letter of that combination is what determines the sound.  So "ei" sounds like "eye" in English

OK maybe not a championship round but was Karlskoga ever available for GPL, apart from Eifelrennen and Enna all other tracks can be raced on ?.

Really looking forward to this mod, F2 was my first real interest back then.
