The 2F had a pedal to operate the wing where a normal car would have a clutch pedal.  The wing was normally at the maximum down force angle and pressing the pedal would move it to the minimum drag angle.  The driver would press the pedal coming out of the corner so the car had minimum drag down the straight.  When he reached his braking point he would take his foot off the wing pedal and push the brake pedal.  The wing would then be at its maximum down force and drag angle when braking and cornering.

here you are.A close look to the 2F pedals, thks to Auto Passion mag

All GPLers are kindly reminded to update  and order a dedicated pedals set when driving the 2F :2c: :2c: :2c: :2c: :P

So my GT40 lap time is more than 3 secs off the pace. :(

I hate that place!

Remco, why GPLRA says that it calculates time of lap 4m 27.911s instead of what says 2m 40.747s. ?
Because you used 60Hz?

I guess that's why, yes. I use 60fpsV1 for the GT mod. I haven't loaded a GT lap into GPLRA yet, but the 60fps version of GPLRA would be the one for that.

I use for this mode, not before, GPLShift with clutch needing.
In my real car, I release the clutch just when I hear, or feel, that the gear was engaged, not before.
Here in the Lola I suffer so frequently for realease the clutch with the gear not engaged.
A thing that I think that can help me to avoid this problem is if the engaging had a sound that it is not the case.
I read the redme of trhe GT mod and there it said that some cars, not the Lola evidently, had engaging sounds and I see the gearshft.wav file.
But I cant see how to change the things to allow that Lola car uses its file.
May be is not as the real thing was, but I asure you that  is enough for me to try to learn how to use the H and three pedals for first time in my simracing life, till now I just used paddles and two pedals.

Any comments or suggestions?

Thanks.

Have fun and don't worry about your laptimes. When I tried this it was frustrating to see my times but fun to drive. You will improve and people will tell you this way is better or that way is better, just try different things and do what feels right for you.

Yeah, just try to focus on learning to control the car as it should be done, working 3 pedals with just 2 feet!
Laptimes are not important yet.

When I switched to right foot braking and h-shifter I had to start a new GPL Rank because being 60 seconds down on my old rank was just too depressing!
Just knowing that I was driving these things in a fashion that was miles removed from the arcade style LFB+flappy paddles was an enormous boost for my enjoyment of the sim.
My love for driving returned and replaced the obsession of going fast.

Didn't take long though for me to get back up to speed and even with the self-inflicted handicap that comes with the move to 3 pedals I am now 20 seconds quicker than I ever was with my old physicsbashing driving style :)

Welcome to the GPL tap dancing club

Using all three pedals and a shifter is immensely satisfying once you've got the hang of it and i like Remco also ended up going faster using this method.

The only downside is i'm not entirely sure one would be able to truly compete with the rank leaders but its satisfying to work your way up the ranking tables using, in my opinion, a harder driving technique.
