I think many people in the world identify Russia and USSR, it's much easy and no problems with it. Therewith I had born in USSR but not in Russia too  :hat-tip:

:) Don't worry... USSR (United Soviet Socialist Republics) = Soviet Union. Russia and Latvia is former Soviet Republics but now independent countries. It's easy

Gaus,
Borovaja is my hometown track. So when you will work on it I can make some photos of existing parts of track, provide some elevations info. Will be glad to help you with this track.

finally came around to testing it. this is a beautiful track, took me a few laps to get my bearing but once you learn it (it's not that hard :D) you get into the groove, quite literally.

thank you gaus    :hat-tip:

Thanks for this magnificent track! Bikernieki is quite difficult to drive, which makes it challenging and fun.

The scenery captures remarkably well Baltic Sea area pine tree forests. And this is propably the first track in GPL which lays almost directly on top of WWII mass graves

My only complaint is concerning about the description/readme: that says track area is "hilly" but the area is relatively flat.  :P

I´m always interested to see more former Eastern Bloc area tracks.

the times are close to each other as shown ,

first ; Kanzo with his Lotus =   1:22.937

Secundo ; Pedro Van den Berg with the Eagel =   1:23.029

third ; me ( alias sven ) and my Brabham =  1:23.230

There's probably still plenty of room to improve these times.
greets

ps ; at the moment I'm racing St-Jovite alias Mont-tremblant track   super   and good AI.
