Superb track! Instant favorite. Just ran a race at novice distant and had a blast fighting Surtees and Brabham for 3rd. Fast and sweeping, just like I want them! Looks great too.

Ookay, just had my first 18 lap stint - and I still have a BIG grin on my face. This is one of those tracks that make you do "one more lap". Fantastic layout, fast sweeping curves, very hard to master. Me likes!   :clap2:

And that´s one of the BEST forests of all GPL tracks. (And I´ve tried them all.) Well done, thanks!  :applause:

Great job Gaus!  It's really a fun track and it's very well done.. It's also educational to me as well.  I didn't know Russia built any race tracks during the Soviet Union era.  What raced there?

Yes, in Soviets was built several permanent tracks and was a few public roads.
Permanent courses was Bikernieki in Riga (now Latvia), Chayka in Kiev (now Ukraine) and Rustavi in Georgia.
Public Road courses was Borovaja in Minsk (now Belarus), Neva Ring in Leningrad, Pirita in Tallinn (Estonia) etc.

You can try discover two main sites about soviet racing (unfortunately in Russian and Lettish):

ww.ussr-autosport.ru

www.racinghistory.lv

In addition Riga, Leningrad and Kiev (maybe some other) took rounds of International Cup of Peace and Friendship. It's was competition between GDR, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Bulgaria and other east Europe autosport's federations.
