Amici miei, buongiorno a tutti :)
New track, this is the time of 12 hours of Sebring 1967
Enjoy driving it

12 Hours of Sebring For The Alitalia Airlines Trophy - Sebring FL-USA ver. 1.0
for GPLegends GT MOD

Made by Ginetto.

Track Location: sebring FL-USA
Track Type : Airfield Track
Track Length : 8.354 km.- 5.19 mil.
Track Num. Turns : 11
Track Year : 1967

Track Editor : Ginetto

This track has a complete new layout from the previous creation for GPL, I recreated the 1967 Sebring 12 hours.
I did a lot of research to find out how exactly was the layout in '67, I did my best to recreate it the most accurate as possible, keeping an eye to the performance on the lower systems.
A few leftover .3do and .mip are still from the older sebring 1959 by Smogbike, credits to the original authors.

You find 3 .jpg files for GEM+:
sebr67-GT.jpg : the GT version (default)
sebr67-F1.jpg : F1 version
sebr67.jpg : the one which is actually used by GEM+, rename to this whatever you like of the above

The track is a mandatory addon if you want to do the championship with the SportCar MOD.

Thanks to :

The GT MOD team for testing .

John Bradley for the wonderful Program Cover.

Stefano Zampedri for the cars and cables 3do.

The GPL Repository for hosting the private forum.

The SimRacingMirrorZone for hosting the track.

Thanks to:

All the community for giving us the right support for doing this!

All the special guys that developed the tools for editing every GPL related thing!

The notorious Papyrus for giving me lots of fun!

Thanks again, Ginetto, already enjoying! Nice touch of vintage there. That Alitalia aircraft seemed to be taxiing to the track and wow - I could swear I saw Dan Gurney there with those fire extinguisher guys.  :bravo:

Excellent track Ginetto and the team! It still has the open airfield atmosphere of the older Sebring, but you've changed and improved so many of the details that it seems miles better. I particularly enjoy the rhythmic bumps on the concrete taxiway sections of the circuit. It really gives me the impression of driving over sections of concrete with joints in between. Great work!

EDIT: I forgot to mention - I had a little trouble with my season.ini file after I installed this. The track short name was set to "Kyalami", and this is the name that appeared in the "best laps" display in the game. I had to do a bit of manual editing. Hopefully the SGEM.INI will be updated soon, and that will fix things?
