Nigel mentioned "the installer" in the readme, but I'm not certain how to go about this or where to put the files. There doesn't appear to be an installer in my downloaded file. I don't have the V2 option on my GEM screen. Can someone clear this up for me? Many thanks.

If you got the file called gplrast_v2.5.exe that you find HEREis the installer :)
You just click on it and then follow the instructions.

Thanks Ginetto, but when I click on the file it opens in wordpad in some strange programming language. There is no exe or instructions. I dl'd the file again thinking I had missed something but no luck. Any suggestions?

The exexcutable has been compressed as a .rar file. Do you have WinRar installed?

No need to pay for it, the trial version works fine.

Or you get 7zip (get the last beta that works just fine ;) ), it's free, small and works great with all the formats :)

In this case I don't know why it has been compressed in rar format, it is basically the same size of the exe and at least a zip format could have been open by any windows user

One possible reason for using .rar is gmail, which at least used to open compressed files and prevent sending them if they contained executables. It could not open .rar, so that was often used to send executable files. This may have changed since I last checked.

It's not only Gmail but one of the reasons to use RAR :)
