When I click on the new 2.5.9 GEM, the GEM website only has 2.5.32. Is this correct?

Also, it's not clear whether this is a new update. I have had TC on my machine for some time now. I'm assuming this is a new update.

It should read 2.5.9 or later version. It was released as 2.5.9 but is actually 2.5.09 so .32 is later.
There is nothing new on the site. I only made the post because I could not see a link to mod. maybe I have the forum configured incorrect.

Thanks for clearing that up. The TC mod is great; it shows the way to produce great mods with fewer physics and fewer car 3do's. This should speed up mod releases. A few mods with just one car physics and different skins (it's my understanding that TC is this way, am I right about that?) would be interesting. More cars could be added later. Just a thought.

I seem the cars of 69 mod are more stable than these ones that have big slick tires. any planning of change a little the physic in the future?

They are a lot heavier than the 69 F1 cars and have a lot of horsepower, thus they tend to break traction a lot, making them a lot of fun. If they change the physics they will no longer be "Thundercars" IMO

Hi !

This is no specific problem.....

Unlucky the Thundercars-Mod is never patched to handle long-tracks (Targa, Mosportrain, etc.) like all the other mods.   :idunno:

What do I need exactly to make the mod work ? I've downloaded the dangermouse linked file and Gem+ but I can't access the track, the green flag won't click. Where are the sounds and maybe something else please ? TIA

Found the readme (sorry).

If someone needs the carsound patch, it's here (with internet time machine it will work) :

Oddly enough I notice there are times at GPLRank of the ThunderCars Mod in Targa and from Mosport Rain. All by one person.
I don't find anything about the patch, but it would be fun to try these monsters on that track. :)
