This mod transforms Nascar Racing 2003 into a Group C simulation.

The Group C racing class is considered to one of the most exciting periods in racing history. While the cars were nearly as powerful as Formula One cars, their designs were much more exotic and the racing action was excellent. The Redline GTP mod transforms Nascar Racing 2003 into a full-blown Group C simulation.

Description: GTP Redline will feature cars from the 88-91 Group C era.

Vehicles: Toyota 88C-V, Sauber C9, Jaguar XJR-9, Mazda 787B.

Tracks: Included: Spa, Spa 24 Hour, Silverstone, Silverstone 24 Hour, Suzuka , Suzuka 24 Hour, Sebring, Sebring 24 Hour, Phillip Island, Phillip Island 24 Hour.

OK, for the tracks they need to be in the directory C:\Papyrus\NASCAR Racing 2003 Season\trackD or C:\Papyrus\NASCAR Racing 2003 Season\trackN , assuming you have installed in c: drive, trackD for day tracks and trackn for night tracks, also there has to be setups installed for the GTP cars,eg: fast.gtp.sim, fast.gtp.jag, fast.gtp.toy, fast.gtp.maz and fast.gtp.sau (you can copy these from another track)as for the cars, search around in here, I found several links and slowly added more cars. I hope this helps

Without being a smartass then it looks from your path example as you have installed the GTP mod on top of (ie inside) your NR2003 install.
Thats not the smartest way of doing it. At least if you want to have the files of your NR2003 separated from your GTP files.

To be honest I struggled so much to get the thing working in the first place that I really didn't try any other way, it makes sense to have a seperate install but I have not had any dramas yet and I have it backed up. Any suggestions wouldn't go astray, I must admit though, I don't really fire it up much anymore but still enjoy it when I do

If it works for you and you dont use it often then it is ofcourse OK for you.
But because you are not the only one that has installed GTP as a piggyback (isnt that the english name for it?) then it must be some "vagueness" in the original instructions. As I recall it the install prg asks 2 questions.
1. Where do you want GTP installed.
2. Where is your NR2003 installed.
And its quite easy to see what kind of misunderstandings provoke the resulting piggyback install:-)

But to other potiential users. Dont let this minor prob block your enjoyment of the best mod for NR2003 (IMO:-)
Install it;-)

Yes, I'm at work now but will have a look around when I get home and see what I have and either PM some to you or provide some links.

Here is a link to start with http://srmz.net/inde...indpost&p=11296

Another one http://srmz.net/inde...indpost&p=41509

Last one http://srmz.net/inde...indpost&p=44357

That should get you started, I think I only have these and the odd one or two that I stumbled onto at other sites.

I can do this, I have a lot of friends who actually raced there and I was on pit crews there a few times, I live about 45 minutes away from where it used to be. Give me a couple of weeks to sort through some books and to see if I have some old photo's around. I lost a lot of my old photo's when my house was flooded in the late 80's but might be able to find something you could use.
