I will start out by saying I like this track. Nogaro has many nice 16 bit hi-res textures, most of them factory supercars and they have been left unaltered. My computer takes a big frame rate hit going into the Courbe Henri Orellier but that is no fault of track, just my lo spec computer and video card so it may well not even be an issue for vast majority of users.

Freddie Hell states he will not be updating this track and it is listed final but even after this update it remains very much a beta in my mind due to a few little niggling issues, however they don't compromise one's ability to race on this track. Just be mindful that the reverse of texture popup occurs on one tree row. I couldn't fix the existing curb and barrel armco in Paint Shop to my satisfaction so I replaced them with non-authentic but believe better looking ones. The existing track groove was a 3 to 5 line streaked affair but I believe Nogaro now has a "serviceable" groove. The non-uniformity of the tree 3DO's caused me to call it a day as far as this update goes so there is only one tree type. Nogaro could be a great little track if someone spent some time to properly finish it off IMO but it ain't in my gameplan.

BTW,the horizon by Scott roughly matches this location 45 miles north of Pau and sure looks a lot better than the default one in my estimation.
