I am pleased to present Long Beach 2010
This is a track by Amtronic. ( He is also the author of Hungaroring and  Winchester Beta.)
He's taking a sabbatical from this business. As a contributor to this project, I've been authorized to release this beta version. It's a beta because more could be done, but it's a fully developed racing entity as it stands.

Updates since the last alpha release:
some buildings and other objects have been added
ai support for cup, cts, pta, and gtp developed
curb work at T3 (fountain turn) to alleviate ai mishaps on the first lap
shortcut penalty for using the backdoor entrance to the pits
re-worked tirewall properties ( response to users request )

Have a look.

Good racing and quite a fun track.

A special thanks from me to all the trackmaker's and 3do artisans that allow their work to be re-used, especially, KingDA, Dodge, Steveb73 (and Bowtie), KESSMAN57, Adriano Augusto, and Gilles Benoit, David Noonan. Without their generosity I wouldn't have been able to get to this stage. :thanks:
Thank you Amtronic, for the track and for allowing me to contribute. I hope you'll return soon.

Happy motoring. :drive:

Judging from the number of downloads, it looks like there are still a few NR2003 Roadcourse racers around.
I hope you are enjoying the track.

I'm going to be doing it all over again (plus more detailed stuff) on a new track layout. It is the same configuration (2007), but I hope to get the tolerances a little closer. (I'd like to have it ready by next year's LongBeachGrandPrix, but I'm still trying to recover from this venture. It'll take a while).

Attention OWR mod users:
A problem has been discovered with the pace car entering the pits at T10 with very high asphalt/concrete grip values, such as those using the OWR mod. The fix will be to have the pace car enter the pits on the frontstraight. This requires some track.ini changes, so here is an alternate version. There still is no OWR ai support, you'll have to make those alterations.

Thanks to all that have downloaded the track, and thank you for your comments.

With the completion and availability of a complete Long Beach 2010 OWR track, http://srmz.net/inde...?showtopic=5841,
there's no need for the OWR track.ini. Instead, here's a pace car enters pit road from the frontstraight (alternate) track ini.
