Just Amazing!!!!!

Many thanks for sharing this update I watched a few replay laps this morning and it totally transforms the Ring it really is a Green Hell now. Looking forward to doing some laps and getting used to all the greenery at the track edge.

Hope that you can sort out your sound issues.

grizzloursse:  Whoa!   I hope I didn't imply that cam file was mine.  It is not mine.  It came as part of a cam folder someone posted somewhere in June.  I picked it up either June 10th 2009 or June 13th 2009.  I was lazy and didn't post the whole file earlier.  I will correct that now.

This track has been out long enough for some opinions to form.  Mine are that in OGL V2 @ 60fps the fps is so variable that it is difficult to drive.  I'm much faster and crash less in D3D V2.  Is it a draw distance thing?

Also, there are some trees that look too big.  I have no ideer how to fix them.  And then there are these floating trees.  Comments?

I have "fixed" the gigantic trees.  I found a "nothing"mip and renamed it "v2a" and "v2b".  Then renamed the v2a and v2b mips.  Then dropped the new ones in the nurby folder.  A better solution would be to edit the appropriate 3do to resize them.  But that would take someone far more knowledgeable than I.  

Next is those floating trees.

Well, resizing is not so hard: just load the 3dO into 3dOedit (the 'can save/can resize' version), then input something like 0.5 size into the dialog box to halve the size, and save. Voila  ;)

(You just have to backup, check if it's the right 3dO and if it has no side effects in other places.)

Well, there is the crux of the problem.  I couldn't find a 3do with the same name.  Plus I have never used 3doedit.  3dos are just a box full of numbers to me.  I have edited car minor 3dos in the past, but the majors are out of my league.  So I changed the mips.

That is the Brabham that Ginetto's brother did recently.  He did the 66 Ferrari also.  It's around here somewhere.
