I posted in his XK 'Ring thread on RSC a couple of weeks ago in the hope we'd see that soon. He hasn't replied to that. He was working on it in Jan09, immediately before RSC crashed. Hopefully someone knows him, and can tempt him back??
Yours, suprisingly eager to crash into trees closer to the track than usual :-)

All the footage from the time shows patched tarmac, overgrown verges and a real sense of driving through woods.
This update has all that...beta shmeta, this is the best ring yet. Now all I have to do is try to add Yogi's bits.

Anyone else have trouble loading track under openglv1? GPL locks up when I try to enter track, works all right under both v2 rasters. I think I had this problem with an update on another track but can't remember which.

Would it be ok to post this update somewhere so it can be available in the future?
I have been digging around in this, and you have done a far better job than I first thought. The more I dig, the more I find.
