I would like to download some 69 mod setups from the ATD but nothing happens when I click on the blue mod numbers.

No problems when clicking to download a track just setups.

Any ideas?

I just went to check up and all is fine to me......

First I did a search for all 69s setups HERE

Attached File  Image6.jpg   232.4K   20 downloads

Then a particular track

Attached File  Image5.jpg   284.65K   15 downloads

and then the setups and it all worked for me.

Attached File  Image4.jpg   183.53K   18 downloads

Another possibility is that the track you're looking at doesn't have any '69 setups yet. The more popular tracks have quite a few, but the less popular ones may not have had any uploaded yet. When you click on a mod year, does literally nothing happen? Or do you get an empty list with the message "You are viewing setups for 1969."? Which track are you looking at?

I have downloaded over 300 tracks from ATD in the past month and also setups so I have not had a problem until now.

Literally nothing happens when I click on the highlighted mod setup.

Because there is no 69mod for Monza10K I want to select another track's 69setup but cannot.

Dennis

Everything else in the ATD I can do, like comment, Bapom, get tracks etc but cannot access the setup tab or if I go directly to the setups page like Keith advised I can't click on any of the mods setups.

It is possible that the setup may not be there although that should throw up a file not found error, this will be resolved this weekend. Another thing is that the setups use javascript so if you have this disabled it may affect you.
What browser are you using and could post any screenies of the spot this is happining.
Have you been sucessful in downloading any setup's from the db?

Browser is Mozilla V5 also this problem is evident in IE on my laptop.

I have downloaded setups from ATD in the past.

The attached pic 1.jpg shows that I can download all expect the two tabs marked in red.

2.jpg also shows that I can't access any setups or links.

Appreciate your help.

Hi Dennis
Thx for the screenies, it confirms that it is either a javascript error or a popup blocker.
Each link you point out is using a pop up window that is triggered by javascript. Also if you run a script blocker that may have an effect.
Im not sure I can do anything about that, could you try reinstalling java, double check you security settings relating to java and pop up windows?

Registering at the Database *still* doesn't work for me. Now I even tried to login using original XP (and Firefox), but after receiving the email the confirmation link gives me an error. <Sigh> I give up...

Reinstall java, turned off security setting for popups etc but still no luck.

I have not altered any of those settings since I d/l setups before from ATD.

Just one of those damn computer things ..... :idunno:

Thanks for your trouble anyway.

Hi Dennis
Sorry to hear that your still having problems, Im pushing out an update tonight to the db.
Most likely this will not help, but as soon as I get it out I will work out this issue with an alternative solution, might be a bit more drawn out to download the setup but for those with issues using javascript.
Will get something worked out soon............
If you could please try http://gpltd.bcsims.net
see if it works there and let me know please :)

Just an extra small thing which might help. Sometimes odd browser problems (including Javascript problems) can be caused by old rubbish in the browser cache. I'm not familiar with Mozilla v5, but try finding the option which refers to your "cache", "temporary data" or "offline storage", and clearing it. That might help. BTW, I don't recommend clearing your cookies, as they often remember various useful settings for websites and they're a bit of a pain to set up again. Hope this helps.

Hi Saiph

I clear out the cache on a regular basis anyway but did it again on your suggestion and still no luck.

OMG this is annoying especially when I have downloaded from the site in the past and nothing has been changed in my PC setups that I know of.
