Where can I see that there are 573 tracks in the TrackDataBase?

Reading your post I tryed to figure out where I can see this.

While cleaningup my track-folder and comparing it with the TotalRank-list,
I discoverd that Westwood Motorsport Park 1990 (track folder name: westwd90) is missing in the GPL Alternative Track Database.

Question:
Das enybody know why ist missing?
I know that there were some issues with this track then.

I know that there were some issues with this track then.

Because Glen replaced it with the corrected  track and didn't want the older incorrect track to be available anymore when the newer one was better anyway.

OK, that rings a bell.

(Thinking out load)  The track is listed in the Totalrank, and not available here, how can someone else get a Totalrank than

Yes, I asked for westwd90 to be removed when west1990 was released.
