With this update guarantee at least a 0.3sec reduction in laptimes as I'm stuck on a 1m17.1s lap time there

Maybe because you don't have a program that deals with RARs?

Look at http://www.rarlab.com/

IMO this upgrade for Keimola by Jason is the finest one yet and it will permanently reside on my HD.  Here is a still most beautiful 3dfx friendly version of it,at least in my opinion as well.

AFAIK,this part of Finland has a a rather featureless landscape that is heavily forested. This is the sky/horizon I use.

Keimola is surrounded by forest, probably mostly spruce and pine. The treeline has a somewhat uniform dark green color, similar to Mosport.

Here's a link to to what Keimola looked like 10 years ago. It looks like coniferous trees dominate but there appears to also be some deciduous trees at the site as well. Definately not a very hilly locale.

Many of the birches have probably grown since the track was abandoned. Around here that is often the first tree to claim an open space.

Thanks for that link.  There is always something hugely intriguing to me looking at photos of former circulits like this.  Imagining what it would have looked like in it's heyday, and trying to picture what is left against my only knowledge of the circuit from GPL - oh and the Collins book of course.

Btw, there are also two other nice updates for Keimola: one by F. Caballero and another one by Jackseller.

The links do not work anymore.
