Just so you can get an idea of where I am speedwise I can get about an 2:00 minute lap at RRC (Roebling Road) with the 67 F1 cars. The record is around 1:52 that I can see.

It does not work correctly with GEM +

So I make differently, and it's very efficient, but you have to adjust the values correctly in each track.ini
SAVE ORIGINAL FILES BEFORE EDIT...
First, In \GPL\drivers.ini
For all AI drivers :
global_hype_scaling = 1.00
In \SPA67\TRACK.INI (for exemple)
[ GP ]
dlong_speed_adj_coeff = 1.040
dlong_speed_maximum = 2.500
So the AI (Clark) is at WR +3s approx.
That's ok for me

Oh yes, very good link !
So I notice that I forgot to tell him that I had also modified NTP_Override in gpl_ai.ini ...
Here is mine (npt_override = .978) , indeed it must be > 0.0 for the system to stop adjusting AI on my lap times.
It's my choice, but everyone can adjust it according to their needs.

So If I want to make the 67 AI cars I have to modify each track ini and then do a AI modification as well ?
I also could get faster

Drive online in a league and you learn that real human drive as good and fast as you!
At UKGPL we have a wide spectrum of drivers and all have fun as there is allways someone to fight with.

It's very easy. Simply hand edit the npt_override setting in the '67 F1 "mod's" gpla67.ini file.

thanks to lee bowden for his tutorial.

I have to say this tutorial is fantastic, this is the best explanation, and he gives two samples of driver ini's which are great. I combined the second driver ini and a npt_override of 1.04, and it was some of the closest racing I've ever had...amazing !
