...Did I read here somewhere that there was a Gulf skin for the GTP mod???...

Skins for this mod. seem to be difficult to find but when we come across any don't forget to leave a link.
So far I've only found 6 GTP cars & 4 GTP night cars and I had to pry them from mates,
but Wally Gator will show them soon. Of course a Canadian Beer Company (Labatts Blue
as a sponsor on one)   & a Bacardi on another.

There are about 9 skins on some links to RSC I gave on another thread including the Gulf, Rothmans Porsche, Delta Jaguar, New Man Porsche and others.

PS. Just so you know (if you didn't )

Do not turn 3d Sound on in GTP it crashes the game when you try to load a track. I had fun and headaches with that when I upgraded my Graphics card to a 256Mb one and started to max things out.

Thanks for the sound tip! That should be a "sticky"!

I don't have to worry about sound - I lost 75% of my hearing 35 years ago...In fact, I just bought 4 more SB AWE64 ISA soundcards on eBay, for future use...No sense buying SB or Turtle Beach $$$ cards when you can't enjoy them...

As to the Porker/Fez skins: I have Le Mans/Sarthe loaded in all my mods, and thought it would be cool to have a Gulf Porsche and Ferrari paintscheme like in the Steve McQueen movie...

Also: I don't recall now what year it was, but I seem to have a memory of a Gulf Porsche going up against a Sunoco Ferrari...

The Sunoco Ferrari raced in 1971, perhaps it was the 12h of Sebring 1971 you are thinking of.

Could very well be...Isn't that one of Wyer's Gulf Porsches back in third place???

You could be talking about the Ferrari 512S; for me I could tell the difference in the rear
wing as this picture will be a 512M and it would have been one of Penske's cars so good change driven by Mark Donahue or the likes of. This should be a 1970 car.
