Where can I find documentation on GPL config files such as GEM.ini?  If I knew the GEM.ini file format, for example, it would help me troubleshoot when something doesn't show up correctly in the GEM+ graphical interface.

Thanks

I dont think there is a documentation on the inis. Mainly I figured out what the ini settings do via the commented lines in the files themselves.

Have you tried the HELP button in the GEM+? it's near the Configure button, there's a little guide

Thanks, this is very helpful!  When I followed the link to the track.ini for dummies documentation, I saw a reference to  the
" Rasterizers, Core.ini , Pribluda explained " tutorial

Where can I find this tutorial?

My best source of information regarding GPL, GEM, Pribluda, etc. is right here in these forums.

I searched for the " Rasterizers, Core.ini , Pribluda explained " tutorial in the forums, but did not find anything.  Even searching on the word "tutorial" by itself produces no results.  Please point me toward this (and other) ini tutorials that you know about.

GEM.ini is not GPL file but file used by GEM program. It contains data about GPL innstallations on current PC and GEM own settings. When you point GEM to new GPL installation it then scan this dir and copy some infrotmation from gpl's ini files to it own gem.ini. When you activate new mod in GPL install then GEM add all mod related info to gem.in again. So there is non need to edit gem.ini file. It's only needed for GEM program. Because if you try to edit it then next run GEM again will examine GPL folder and rewrite some info in gem.ini. You can check gem.ini just to insure that GEM sees needed GPL files or mods. If something don't work then check GEM's debug file or problem is in GPL itself.
