Thanks for this update Rookie, I love the detail you have gone into with it. As you can see, it has motivated me to race more often, and now I am up to seven leagues raced in for the month! :D

Thanks Iestyn. Nice ! It's kind of what it's for, to create emulation.

You contacted me, you seemed to want to participate in Galaxie 67 and finally we didn't see you for Silverstone. Didn't you get my invitation email ?

You're welcome.

Yes! Plus, to see how many drivers are still racing competitively in GPL. GPL Weekly and GPL Rank are also good for this, showing uploaded results and times.

I was too engrossed in the Masters last round on Sunday, but I will try to participate in the future :).

Hi Pedro, as Robert wrote it, with Chrome you have a button, at the top left, with a scrolling menu (perhaps with Firefox too). :)

With a lot of delay the June ranking is online.* Three more drivers are entering in this ranking for a total of 138 :

https://www.grandpri...9-juin-23072019

The "leagues and drivers" page is also updated (with three drivers doing their first race of the year) :

https://www.grandpri...ilotes-03022019

*Without the result of Pan Am, Monaco, 25.06.

Robert Fleurke is the number one at the end of this first semester. Miguel Palud, the best of June, officially. In reality it is probably Joao Marcon because the result I miss* is the one of a championship where he is the leader (and probably the winner).

By country, a group of four is above the rest, with Brazil dominating the ranking, followed by the Netherlands, Argentina and Germany.

As there is less races in July and August, the next ranking will be for September and will include these two months.

*I regret that the Pan Am and Mybroga results are no longer published on GPL Weekly. (Pan Am, Monaco, 25.06 & Monza 09.07) & (Mybroga, Zandvoort F2, 02.07 & 67, 03.07).

With an incredible delay the last ranking is online (July-August). Seven more drivers are entering in this ranking for a total of 145 :

https://www.grandpri...19-juillet-aout

The "leagues and drivers" page is also updated (with seven drivers doing their first race of the year) :

https://www.grandpri...ilotes-03022019

For the leagues, the second semester's championships have been integrated (Clandestines, GPL Brasil, Mybroga, PanAm & UKGPL) so the "calendar" should be complete for 2019 with 35 championships by 14 leagues.

Robert Fleurke is still number one but the gap is decreasing with Joao and Enrique.

By country, no changes, a group of four is still above the rest, with Brazil dominating the ranking, followed by the Netherlands, Argentina and Germany.

Thanks to the pilots who provided me the datas I was missing.

- To be noted, about this ranking :

.Results : all results are collected on the league sites. Otherwise, on GPL Weekly if they are not available elsewhere. Also, on league sites to check if the result is affected by a downgrade or reclassification (example: https://www.simracin...p?topic=15588.0). So all the results of the 14 leagues and 36 championships of the year are used for this ranking, which is intended to be as reliable as possible, following the criteria I have chosen : coefficients assigned to the races according to their characteristics, their duration and the mods chosen. If I could I even take into account the difficulty of the circuit and the level of the field of drivers gathered for the race, but then it would become really too subjective and too complicated.

.Points : All points obtained count. The more you drive (and the more good results you get) the better you are ranked. I didn't opt for an average system because it benefits the drivers who drive the least because, of course, it is easier to be consistent over a small number of races than over a larger one.

The parallel with the ATP tennis ranking can be observed here again : at its beginning, in 1973, the ranking was based on the average number of points obtained, with a minimum divisor of 10. At less than 10 tournaments the points were divided by 10 and above by the real number of tournaments played, knowing that some players played up to 30 tournaments in one year.

After a few years the average system was abandoned because some players who had played in 10 or a little more tournaments missed out on some tournaments or even ended their season so as not to worsen their average and thus fall to the world ranking. This distorted the ranking. The average was therefore dropped and some tournaments became required.

Now, the last ranking is online (September). One more driver is entering in this ranking for a total of 146 :

https://www.grandpri...-2019-septembre

The "leagues and drivers" page is also updated (with one driver doing his first race of the year) :

https://www.grandpri...ilotes-03022019

Robert Fleurke is still number one followed by Joao and Enrique.

By country, no changes, a group of four is still above the rest, with Brazil dominating the ranking, followed by the Netherlands, Argentina and Germany.

Another time, thanks to the pilots who provided me the datas I was missing.

:thankyou:

This ranking is missing a weighted score!  Points/races!

Now you are "better" the more races you drive...
