These files fix the 1965 F1 mod gauge needles for the optional high resolution dashes that can be installed by Bernd's v2.0.2 installer found here:

https://gplps.wordpr...-gpl-installer/

1.  Lotus 33--the mod physics settings cause the oil temperature needle to rotate backwards.  Also, other gauge needles are misaligned.  The 1965 Lotus 33 Gauge Fix patch overrides these settings.
2.  Cooper T77--the gauge needles are in the wrong position which requires a new coventry.3do file.  Also, gauge needles are misaligned.  The 1965 Cooper T77 Gauge Fix patch overrides these settings.
3.  Honda RA272--All the gauge needles are misaligned.  The 1965 Honda RA272 Gauge Fix patch overrides these settings.
4.  Ferrari 1512 high resolution dash gauge needles are OK.
5.  Brabham BT7, BT11, and BRM P262 low resolution dash gauge needles are OK.

To use these files:
1.  Copy the coventry.3do file into the mod installation/cars/full65/coventry directory and allow overwrite.
2.  Copy the three Gauge Fix patches into the mod Installation/Mods/GEM+/gpl65/Options directory.
3.  Delete the existing gplc65.exe.
4.  Start GEM+, select the 1965 F1 mod, and check the three Gauge Fix patches.
5.  Hit the green button and let GEM+ rebuild the mod .exe.

EDIT:

Doh!  I forgot to fix the Honda RA272 tach tell tale.  New .zip file posted.

Thanks very much Lee. The low res dashboards on the Brabhams for Siffert, Gardner, Anderson and Hawkins really stand out now, however.
Were hi-res skins ever released for these cars, or have I missed them somewhere?

Remy was working on updates for these cars but I`m not sure if they were ever done or not. I posted in the thread I`ve linked to but have never had an answer unfortunately.

Yes, it would be great if the BT7 and BT11 had high res dashes too.  I suppose the BRM P261 dash could be considered high res too, but its tach looks a bit fuzzy to me and Bernd's installer doesn't install it as a separate option.

If everyone uses the three high res dashes for the Cooper, Honda, and Lotus together then I could make a single patch for all the cars.  For now, I made three separate patches in case someone was still using a low res dash for one of these three cars.

I've decided it would be a great day to reveal the BT11 dashes I copy pasted from the player's car to the AI cars some time ago - until now only for my own use. :-)

On the Brabham cockpits guys... there is an update for the 65 mod that contains some really good, HQ stuff including hi res cockpits for the Brabham`s. I just talked to the author and it should be released sometime soon. B)

Oh, I didn't see your post there, sorry. I'm not much around and I don't ready everything :(
I never finished the work on those dashboards and car skins, but I gave my work files to Denis (DB312) a while ago, I saw some wip and I can say they are in good hands ;)

Hi Remy,

No worries. I thought it would just be the case that you had`nt seen my post. Good to hear your files are in the very capable hands of Denis who I know will do a very good job with them.
