Of course we all know there are amazing tracks in the Grand Prix Legends database.

Of all the tracks available, which are proven meet the challenges of way too much fun and a good venue for racing, and are technically very reliable when used on-line?

Are there any or many?

Is it the technical quality of a track or being on-line that causes typical issues?

What about the vanilla Papy tracks?

Any favorites?

:D

There are many great tracks for online racing, but it depends on the cars you race. ;)
Original 67 or a mod (55, 65, 66, 67F2, 69x, CanAm66, CanAm71, 67GT, Thundercars, Stratos, Night Mod 65 & 67) :D

Hello John,

there are a lot of great tracks to race online, but to have an idea of that diversity (and not keeping with isolated opinions) I think this "stats" sections of GPL-Weekly.  There are several addon tracks that were raced many times with no or just a few online problems.

If you're looking for opinions, they vary from day to day, but we had great races in Road Atlanta 71 or Balcarce. Also very challenging ones in slow tracks as Pau or Montjuic.

Cheers, Marcos

John// i hope you've installed the NEW (totally accurate) Spa 67 track..
and the newer version of Road America is fantastic -
but the truth is, i think the list is shorter if you ask "which tracks are NOT suitable for online"   ;)

They're all good.

(Edit: Just once in your life, you should even try Gyral online with a full grid, but with damage switched off. It's like the bumper cars at the fairground! :yikes: :woot: :excited: :hithead: :D )

Never raced online with GPL, but agree with Bruce & Marcos and others, I had a lot fun with RoadAmerica71 / Spa67 / Monza10k / Montjuic recently. Goodwood is very challenging too, some corners very difficult to brake properly for me.

For me online is the only way to race...

When you ever drove 3 cars wide through Parabolica with the 65s you never will accept AIs as opponents!

Yes, Monza is the best track for online racing, easy and boring to drive alone, but what a thrill fighting with real human drivers...
