Xylometazoline that's the one you want indeed.

They also sell them with a saline solution here in the Netherlands, those are terrible!

NEVER buy pharmacy medicines if you can possibly avoid it. Healthcare is one of the most profitable industries on the planet, and any time you buy products from multi-national, multi-billion-dollar turnover pharmaceutical companies, your hard-earned cash will end up lining the pockets of some of the richest people on the planet. Find alternative sources of treatment, and alternative medicines. Sometimes it can be tough to find credible sources of information on this type of subject, but persevere. You will find valuable and credible alternatives if you try. The healthcare industry is one of the most glaring examples of the immorality of modern, unfettered and unregulated capitalism. Exploiting the sick to make rich people richer should be unacceptable in the modern age. But in the western world, (especially profit-obsessed America) it is encouraged and admired. DON'T BE A PART OF IT.

Over-the-counter stuff is marked up incredibly and is unnecessary if all you need is table salt.

Saline solutions from the pharmacy shelves are much too diluted.
Plus at $6/oz USD or more that's $768/gallon for a few cents worth of salt and water.

Really just thinking this has helped friends when they needed it so thought friends here might sometime appreciate it as well.

I saw someone peddling magnesium on a message board once. It's price was terrible. I recommended that a bag of epsom salts might have enough magnesium in it to keep a human going for years or decades. Cost? two dollars?
