I just realised that I don't think this is available to others and I have it so I thought I would upload it.

It is a later test version of Brr's FFB patch.
I cannot remember what the difference is compared to FFB2.xml but I remember Johnny Ackermann raving about it on VROC and I think it was him that sent it to me.

If anyone knows any details then please feel free to add them.
If this is already available somewhere and i didn't spot it then feel free to remove this topic.

Place in your GEM+ options folder and activate inside of GEM+

Thanks

First time I've heard about it! If it's available somewhere on SRMZ, it must be burried deep, 'cause I sure didn't see it in "official" release thread.

I've been using v2 for a long time and I like it - trying out another version is a must. Thanks!

It's great!!!

I don't know exactly where's the difference with the previous version, but I feel the wheel even more realistic with this patch

Thanks, I'll check it out. Using FFB2 since a year and it helped somewhat to get better feel.

Its definitely an improvement! Very good feeling at the centre. Less rubber band feeling. I use a osw direct drive wheel.

Had to up the settings in core.ini because the forces feel stronger with v3. From 380 to 420..

force_feedback_damping = 0
force_feedback_latency = 0
max_steering_torque = 420

Thanks for sharing!

FFB3 is definitely more direct and has heavier forces, and it feels more progressive. FFB2 is smoother in feel. Using a MSFF @ 0-0-400

This is great ! My steering wheel feels more responsive and there seems to be less of a dead zone at the center. I'm using a G27 with settings at 0-0-290. Thank you very much.

Hi all,

The Can Am 66 mod is a beast with this Ff3! The can am and both the trainers feel great. Addictive even ...Mc Laren M1B @ Mosport. Nice mellow V8 sound on the advance trainer!

Please help me, I'm a complete stupid in these matters...

The first post says "Place in your GEM+ options folder and activate inside of GEM+". OK, I did it, but I didn't find where to activate... Should it appear in the same place as the 60fps? Because id didn't...

Edit: OK, I should realize it: rename the file to ff3.xml... My bad...
