Hello.

Here's a new/updated set of AI files for Watkins Glen 1948 road track.

NOTES

- provided as "it is", without any kind of warranty;
- feel free to edit the files as you want - if you want to - without asking for permission;
- tested only with 55 mod cars;
- put extra care at turn 1 at the start of the race, since it's a typical "crash factory" corner.

Nothing more sad than to have all those wonderful Mods, updates, etc... And to play against one bad AI...

Btw... Would it be possible for you to improve that of Diamante... But I don't want to take advantage... No, no...

As an only-against-AI racer I agree of course. But take in account that sometime there are nasty sections really difficult to deal with in order to obtain acceptable AI behaviour.

I'n not used to race or even install fantasy tracks, but who knows... so stay tuned...

Tato .... Dessauer Rennstrecke is a beautiful track with awesome 1950s scenery, perfectly made for the 55Mod cars.  But, the AI is a disaster at the hairpins!

Please have a look, when you get a chance.

I may have mistaken the name for Pau67 . Isn 't it you that did improved AI's we have now for this track, and not Ed76 ?

Michel, I have an AI files set for Pau67 made by EZ ... it is dated 2002.  The set that I did not know the author of is dated 2014.

i made a new set of ai for pau67 in 2010 (not 2002, in 2002 i have even not heard of gpl).
in 2012, i contributed to the F2F3 66 mod made by ed76 (testing, brainstorming and adjustments of the ai files)
Pau was a round of the F3 championship in 66.
the files mentionned by Greg may be those ones...
not sure
but never mind.

Hello Ezechiel, glad to know you are still working on AI stuff too. In my opinion you are one of the best GPL AI makers ever, both for quality and quantity. I have most of yours installed in my rig. Infact if/when I'm interested in a new track but for my tastes AI is not good enough to totally :crap:, this is my process to solve:

- search for Ez AI: --> if yes, go for it!
                               --> if not, 'pity and damn, another pain in the ass, I need to do it by myself, hoping I may able to go close to Ez...'  

About Dessau, since I've already started yesterday to give a look, I think I will go on with my own AI and release it too if I find something usable: in that case two new AI sets will be better than one, and yours better than mine for sure!

Greg,  that is because thinking twice I had some doubt between Ezechiel and Ed 76 , remembering Ezechiel improved sometimes is former AI's files.
