Attached is a modified track.3DO and Camera file from Greg Liebzeit, to use for admiring the video of the races. It mainly has a bigger rear view of the track so the polygons loaded are more and you might have problems of low frame per second while racing.
If you have strong enough systems, you can use it all the time but to be safe, I just leave it as an option for you to decide.
Thanks Greg! :)

Thank you Ginetto and team!
Another great team work guys!

My favourite corner with the 55 (beta) cars is the fast left before start/finish.

I can already feel the heat. ;)

Argentine Grand Prix Oscar Gálvez

The 1953 race saw native son Fangio retire his Maserati after 36 laps due to a transmission failure; Alberto Ascari's victory for Ferrari was overshadowed by an accident which killed nine people and injured many others due to overcrowding along the track. The race was heavily advertised and it is believed that around 400,000 people turned up for the event. The facility was so packed that people were standing on the edges of corners, inches away from the cars apexing the corners.[2]

The following year, the circuit was run in an anticlockwise direction, and Fangio did reach the top of the podium, winning his home Grand Prix on his second attempt; he would go on to win the next three Grands Prix in Argentina, one of which was the 1955 race. It was one of the hottest races on record, at 40C (104F) with track temperatures reaching 51C (122F). Fangio, now driving for Mercedes, was the only driver to complete the 96 laps, after 3 hours without handing his car over to another driver. One of his legs was badly burned by a chassis tube heated by the exhaust, an injury that forced a 3-month recovery. In 1958, Stirling Moss took the win, in what would be the penultimate race in Fangio's distinguished career. It was also the first Formula One championship victory for a rear/mid-engined car and the first for a privateer. Young New Zealander Bruce McLaren won in 1960. With Fangio's retirement and the disappearance of fellow Argentine driver José Froilán González, combined with unstable governments after the exile of Peron (in 1955), the Argentine Grand Prix disappeared from the F1 calendar in 1961 for over a decade.

GP Argentinien – Buenos Aires (16. Januar 1955)

English Google Translation:
The Grand Prix entered the history of Formula 1 as the "heat battle". At 37 degrees in the shade and at 50 degrees asphalt temperature man and machine were equally required. In the era, which had not yet known a bottle of water, Juan Manuel Fangio's "camel tactics" led to success. While everyone else was drinking a lot of liquid in the run-up, he had trained abstinence. He was almost the only pilot to hold the steering wheel alone due to his mental strength. Some of the opponents' monopostos were steered by three, a Ferrari even by five riders who were changing because of exhaustion. A Ferrari was technically completely intact for two rounds, as none of the crew was ready to steer him until J.F González continued to take the car to second place. Only the local hero Mières, who was an experienced sports car pilot, was endured in the absence of a larger team support on the steering wheel alone, but only came five laps later. Almost dry, Fangio realized that he did not want to go through something similar again.

Many, many thanks to Ginetto(and indeed, the whole GP55 team who provided a HUGE amount of input)for this superb production.  As one who only contributed with on-track beta testing, I can tell you all that this was a work of dedication and love.  Quite, quite beyond me, personally, as to what drives them to such extremes of detail and accuracy.  I doff my hat to them all.  :)
