Matching Correct Physics With Car Slot Graphics

If I want to change (for example) Car 8 to use the graphics from car slot c18, will GPL use the correct physics for c18 (BRM P115), or will it keep the current physics (Eagle T1F)? How do I make sure the link between the physics and graphics is correct?
Also, can anyone explain what the .eph file does?

The drivx67.ini file for Kyalami68 has Rindt as a driver for Team number 9.
The 67-extra 7.cst carset file defines Team 9 as using the graphics from carslot c09.
But the actual graphics files for Rindt's car are in c29, so how does GPL know to find the graphics in c29, and how are the physics for c29 defined?

chassis 0 graphics 0 and 15
chassis 2 graphics 2, 17 and 18
chassis 4 graphics 4, 20,21 and 22
chassis 6 graphics 6 and 24
chassis 8 graphics 8 and 25
chassis 10 graphics 10, 16 and 27
chassis 14 graphics 14, 30, 23, 19, 28 and 26

So do c09 and c29 have the same physics?
And where in GPL can I see which cars have which graphics clots?

Yes, the one with more graphics folders, share the same physics.
The one not in the list have just one slot.
