Thanks! I ought to like this one. The 71 Can Ams at Riverside 1971 were one of the things that got me hooked on GPL.

Grazie Ginetto and all involved  !!
Your fine work always keeps me coming back to GPL. Why aren't you doing tracks for Kunos yet? ;) Would love to see that! Contact them, you never know.
It's funny actually, last week I was watching a vid on YT of the USAC finale @ Riverside in 1967 and was hoping that some day that version would be in GPL. Well, it's the time of year for dreams to come true, right? Again, thank you so much for your continued efforts and generosity. :notworthy:

Happy Holidays to you and everyone in the GPL community !  :xmas:

Yes indeed! It is another excellent track!

My first flying lap, of course, I hit the wall at T1. I thought I ripped both of the M8F's right wheels off, but they were still there. However the car was riding real low on the right side. I don't know if I've seen that before.

Some of the turns that look identical to 71 seem to have a little different feel to me. I'm running wide at T2 much more often. The entrance to the esses, T4, seems to be a bit easier. I'm braking a little earlier for T6 but it feels like I have more traction exiting T6. T7 seems to be more difficult to keep it tight on the inside. My braking for T8 seems to be slightly different too. Of course, the last turn is much different. It keeps me thinking, will I ever have to quit slowing down?

Thanks again Ginetto and company. It's another fine track. Plus Riverside is one of my favorite North American circuits.

Happy holidays to all!

Yes they are different.
Remember that T1 was changed in '67, they widened the radius and used the bridge just for pit exit since then.

For this circuit I was able to get my hands on a very detailed and big aerial picture so, while my 71 had some guesses, this layout is spot on.
Only thing that can be different from the real thing is the elevation profile; there I've tried my best but you know that, unless you laser scan, it can always be better.
